How does it work?
After registration, you got access to our intuitive web Dashboard where you be able to create security spaces, teams and invite members. That’s it, that is all you have to do. Also, SpaceV supports advanced settings for those who want more control.
Do I need special knowledge?
No. You don’t require special knowledge to organize VPN for your teams or organizations rather than you already using. SpaceV comes with an intuitive web dashboard that very useful to use. Also, we have documentation in case if you need to do something special.
Do I need a network device to use your service?
No. You don’t require any additional device(s) to organize VPN for your teams or organizations. SpaceV uses cloud servers to organize a VPN for your organization. If you need to run it in your environment it comes with an open-source self-hosted gateway.
What VPN protocols SpaceV supports?
SpaceV supports 3 most popular protocols WireGuard, IPSec/IKEv2 and OpenVPN at the same time, and you can use all of that simultaneously.
What VPN clients can be used with SpaceV?
With SpaceV you are able to use our client called “SpaceV Connect” ready to use under iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Linux. Also, you can use any other client that supports one of the 3 supported protocols, for example, you can use “WireGuard”, “OpenVPN Connect” or use native OS tools to connect through IPSec/IKEv2.
Does SpaceV support dynamic routes?
Yes. SpaceV supports dynamic routes, so with dynamic IP routes technology, VPN clients shall not be reconnected devices and they will smoothly receive routes updates.
Does SpaceV add “default gateway” route by default?
No. For security reasons SpaceV doesn’t add a “default gateway” route by default, but it could be changed in advance settings in the web dashboard.
Does SpaceV support firewall?
Yes. SpaceV support intuitive firewall rules that you can manage through web dashboard. It is extremely easy to use.
How can I activate firewall?
It is very simple. You need to tag your resources in your “space” then you need to allow or deny to teams or members in the firewall sections in the web dashboard.
Can I use Active Directory or LDAP?
Yes. With SpaceV you can connect Active Directory or LDAP servers. You need to contact us here [email protected]
Do I need to install any certificates for clients?
No. SpaceV will handle all these routines and will setup the required certificates automatically.
Can I use a custom DNS server?
Yes. SpaceV comes with a self DNS server that might be activated in any spaces and may filter DNS queries or not. Also, you can use your custom DNS server that works on your environment.
Does SpaceV support IP broadcast forwarding?
Yes. In the web dashboard in advanced settings, you can activate “IP broadcast forwarding” feature. Also, you can limit what kind of broadcast packets or services should be forwarded to the virtual private networks (VPN).
Can I connect routers or switches to SpaceV?
Yes. You can easily connect almost any routers or switches that support one of the 3 supported VPN protocols (WireGuard, IPSec/IKEv2 or OpenVPN). Basically, any offices/schools/datacenter’s routers or switches can be connected to SpaceV’s organized virtual private network and then shared with teams and members.
